		<description>&lt;p&gt;This was helpful tutorial... I wasn't able to get it working smoothly... though this did help a lot. I was having trouble with my default installs of php conflicting with macports' version so I ended up just copying them from macports to /usr/bin that was the only way I could get lighttpd to start.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Next will be configuring mysql to work and play with lighttpd...&lt;/p&gt;

with lighttpd this is my first port where nothing really worked from the start. I had to tinker with my conf file for about two hours to figure out how to properly run it.
